Shanghai Oriental Pearl, SMG Team Up for Mobile TV Devices

According to a statement by Shanghai Oriental Pearl Group, it will team up with its stakeholder SMG (Shanghai Media Group) to set up a joint venture for the production of mobile TV devices using DMB technology. The two companies will invest a total of 200 million RMB in the venture, with Shanghai Oriental Pearl Group holding a 51% stake and Shanghai Media Group a 49% stake.
